For Siblu, a well-known holiday park company, I designed a new website to support their shift from offering vacations to selling chalets. The focus was on understanding potential buyers, creating clear user journeys, and turning these into a digital experience that feels engaging and trustworthy. From research and wireframes to the final UI, the platform now helps Siblu position itself as a reliable partner for chalet ownership.
Research Phase
The project started with understanding the audience. I created personas to capture different types of potential buyers, their motivations, and pain points. This helped both the client and me get aligned on who we were designing for.
I also ran a benchmark analysis, looking at competitors and similar industries to spot best practices for presenting real estate or long-term holiday investments.
Together with the client, I facilitated a sitemap workshop. The sitemap became the foundation of the website, making sure business goals, selling chalets, and user needs, clear info, trust, and easy navigation, were both well-covered.
Wireframing
Once the structure was in place, I moved on to lo-fi wireframes. These allowed us to quickly explore and validate different layouts without being distracted by visual design. The wireframes were presented to the stakeholders, and through several feedback rounds we refined the user journeys and interaction flows. This iterative process was key in balancing Siblu’s sales objectives with a smooth and reassuring user experience.
UI design
With the wireframes approved, I transitioned to high-fidelity design. Here, I brought Siblu’s brand identity to life in a way that felt modern, consistent, and trustworthy. The designs were created to not only be visually appealing but also to build credibility, an important factor when selling high-value products like chalets.
Throughout this phase, I held design review sessions with the client. These sessions helped validate choices, fine-tune details, and ensure the website matched both Siblu’s strategic goals and the expectations of their target audience.
